BAUMANN SPRINGS Leon (Mexico) is going through some major expansion as well. The facility which began production in 2007 is approx. 2,137 sq meters (more than 23,000 sq. ft) and is increasing its workforce to over 30 employees. It now includes state-of-the-art CNC coiling and wire forming equipment, a wide range of grinding capabilities, shot-peening and in-line stress relieving equipment. The facility, built in part to support the growing automotive, medical, aerospace and industrial sectors in Mexico is ISO 9001 certified with plans to achieve TS 16949 by the end of 2008. BAUMANN SPRINGS Leon's new quality lab includes a CMM in addition to the latest spring and wire forming test equipment.
